What We Collect

We may collect your e-mail address in order to send you periodic TheKey2Free.org updates, newsletters, and other notifications. In order to recieve these emails you must manually subscribe to them and you can unsubscribe from at any time on the bottom of each email.
We also collect other information you provide us (such as name, address, credit-card information for transactions). Additionally, we collect non-personally identifiable information for aggregation such as, among other things, visitor browser type and screen resolution.

How we collect this information:

I. Cookies – Cookies are used to collect navigation patterns throughout our site. We only collect non-personal information this way and use this information in oder to enhance the site to better suit our readers. While it does help use tremendously, you have the option to turn cookies off in your browser. This is typically located in the ‘Help’, or ‘Settings’ part of your toolbar. There you should be able to turn cookies off. However, by doing so you may loose some functionality of this site.

II. Server Statistics and Data – We collect information such as number of total visitors, number of visitors per article, how long visitors are own certain pages, their navigational habits, and other similar data in order to enhance the site for our readers. A simple use case of this would be if readers like a certain type of category better than another we might supply more of that type of content. Or if users do not use a certain navigational tool we might remove it or enhance it. This type of data is NOT personally identifiable. Some other types of this data are IP addresses which we use to make the site secure, “web beacons” to monitor emails, and where traffic coming onto the site is coming from. This data is not identifiable to individual people and cannot be used to track a particular person. We do not store that sort of information to protect our readers.

III. Information You Provide Us – This is primarily emails, but can mean any information meant to identify you. An example is when you register for our Daily Email, or when you email us to ask us a question.
